
“Big Hit Entertainment’s global CEO Lenzo Seokjun Yoon revealed that BTS will be holding an on and offline streaming concert this October. The revelation was done during Big Hit Entertainment’s second quarter corporate briefing for 2020. Adding that there are a lot of exciting news for the last half of the year. BTS has been busy since the beginning of this year 2020 and the last part of the year has a lot in store for ARMY. BTS will be releasing their new Album, they are in the process of releasing new games and Big Hit is even set to debut 3 new idol groups. Big Hit just keeps giving and giving more that ARMY asked for, and we are loving it!
Through their Weverse App BTS announced a concert to be held on the 10th and 11th October. The concert will both be an offline and online concert. The concert is dubbed ‘MAP OF THE SOUL ONE’ which will allow BTS to showcase their performances from their chart topping alum MAP OF THE SOUL: 7. Big Hit wanted to the showcase to be a gift for both BTS and ARMY who have been waiting to meet again. More details to be communicated by Big Hit later on.
In August 2020, BTS announced their plans for the ‘Map of the Soul ON:E’ concert, scheduled for October 10 and 11, 2020. This event was initially designed to feature both online and offline components, with performances at Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Arena. However, due to the escalating COVID-19 pandemic and associated safety concerns, Big Hit Entertainment revised these plans. By September 25, 2020, they confirmed that the offline segment would be canceled, and the concert would proceed solely as an online livestream.
