“Today is a very very special DAY, 4th September marks 3 awesome years since the release of ‘Serendipity’ back in 2017, a song sang by Jimin. Jimin has mostly sang and performed Serendipity during concerts. The music video for Serendipity was successful worldwide as it garnered over 7 million views on YouTube in 24 hours! It was written by “hitman” bang, Ashton Foster, Ray Michael Djan Jr., RM, and Slow Rabbit, who was also credited as the producer. The intro version of the song sold 114,128 digital copies in South Korea, with the full length version peaking at number twenty-nine for digital sales in the United States and selling more than 10,000 copies.

In Canada, the full length Serendipity version was the thirty-ninth bestselling song upon release and was the eighth best seller worldwide. Serendipity charted at 20th place on UK’s Official Charts, the highest among BTS’ solo songs. It entered the US iTunes Singles Top 10 and peaked at 9th place, becoming the 4th Korean solo and making Jimin the 5th Korean Artist to achieve this.
