It all started like a rumor. Then BTS caught ARMY off-guard with their Savage Love challenge on TikTok which they nailed so perfectly. The Savage Love challenge, which went viral thanks to Jason’s number one song featuring Jawsh 685 this summer had many fans taking up the challenge and also a couple of celebrities joined in. ARMY were in love with BTS’ savage love’ TikTok Challenge . In the video BTS synchronized their steps before they broke into their own routine and then brought the video to a hilarious end. 

ARMY soon started searching for clues when they found out that Jason Derulo had liked BTS’s tweet about Dynamite having their first number one single in the US. Later on it was discovered that BTS had received a credit underneath one of the Savage Love music videos on YouTube and it had even been dubbed a ‘BTS remix’.

​In an exciting collaboration, BTS are to join forces with New Zealand producer Jawsh 685 and American singer Jason Derulo for a remix of the hit song “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat).” The remix was officially released on October 2, 2020, and introduced a fresh dynamic to the track by incorporating vocals from BTS members Jungkook, SUGA, and J-Hope, who performed new verses in both Korean and English.

The original version of “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” had already gained significant popularity, peaking at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. The addition of BTS to the remix propelled the song to new heights, and it climbed to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated October 17, 2020. This achievement marked the second number-one hit on the Hot 100 for both BTS and Jason Derulo, and the first for Jawsh 685.

The collaboration was initially teased through a TikTok video featuring BTS, Jason Derulo, and Jawsh 685 participating in the “Savage Love” dance challenge, which heightened anticipation among fans. Upon its release, the remix was met with widespread acclaim, with listeners praising the seamless integration of BTS’s unique style into the existing framework of the song.
