BTS (Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook) Won the Top Social Artist Award at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards held on Wednesday night (Oct. 14). This is BTS’ 4th year winning the Top Social Artist which is voted by fans. They have won the Award since 2017 up to now in 2020. In 2019 they won in both the Top Social Artist and Top Duo/Group. So far they have received a total of 6 BBMAs nominations since 2017 and won 5 of them. BTS is the only K-pop group to have won the Top Duo/Group award in Billboard Music Awards history.

BTS became the first group to dominate the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Social 50 chart for 200 weeks. They then proceeded to perform their chart topping hit “Dynamite” with a virtual band that gave the song a jazzy classical feel.

At the 2020 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), BTS made history once again by winning the Top Social Artist award for the fourth consecutive year. Their unwavering dominance in this category, which is determined by fan votes, reflects the immense power of their global ARMY.
