As more well wishes for Yoongi’s recovery after his shoulder surgery drift in, the Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus joined in to wish BTS Yoongi quick recovery. The Director on his Twitter handle wrote “Dear Yoongi, I wish you a good post-surgery recovery. I look forward to seeing you playing your guitar again but your health comes first. So please, take all the time you need to recover! Take care!”
In November 2020, BTS’s SUGA underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, an injury dating back to 2012. The decision for surgery came after years of experiencing pain, which began affecting his daily activities and performances. Big Hit Entertainment announced that the procedure was successful, and Suga would be taking time off from most group activities to focus on his recovery.
During his recovery, SUGA shared updates with fans, expressing gratitude for their support. He acknowledged the challenges of rehabilitation, noting that it was more painful than anticipated, but remained optimistic about returning to full health.
Yoongi has always been someone who loves to help, especially knowing that he came from a poor background, where he had to sometimes choose between eating and taking the bus home, it was during one of those side hustles that he had an accident that injured his shoulder . He is a generous person, he even hand wrote over 100 letters and attached to personalized gifts to give to fans who had come to celebrate his birthday.
He is always donated to causes close to his heart and gives life changing advice to ARMY whenever he can. He cares for his members and always looks out for them, loves to cook for them and always loves giving in to the younger ones whenever they ‘disturb’ him for attention. He truly deserves the world and hoping for his quick and complete recovery.
