BTS ARMY continues its reign as the most active and visible fandom on social media, especially on Twitter where it creates worldwide trends almost every day and often multiple times a day for whatever reason. There is never a day that goes by without one or more of the BTS members is trending. The trends are usually depended on an occasion like birthdays, anniversary celebrations of the member’s music whether solo or as a group, even friendship anniversaries are celebrated and trend for several hours.
Even BTS members’ pets usually trend and it is not unusual for the individual BTS BT21 characters to trend Most recently the trend! #GetWellSoonYoongi trended with over 1 million tweets after it was announced that he had surgery on his shoulder.
Before that, BTS concert Map Of The Soul ON:E trended for the two days that the concert was held. The concert had over four Million Tweets with 44 worldwide trending terms during the 2 day event! ARMY have also broken or held several social media Guiness World records especially on Twitter.

BTS’ online concert event, BangBangCon, was a top trending occasion, resulting in more than 50 worldwide trends in a span of 36 hours.
