BTS are set to attend SBS Gayo Daejeon which will be held in Daegu, with the theme “The Wonder Year”. The yearly music festival is set to be held on Dec. 25 in the South Korean city of Daegu. Daegu is V and Yoongi’s hometown that they have even sung in songs. BTS sang about their towns in their song “Ma City” while Suga mentioned in the song “Agust D” that he’s from the D.

He and the rest of the BTS members are usually proud of their hometowns.  Both V and Suga will be lucky to be spending Christmas in their hometown! This means that BTS will be celebrating Christmas with ARMY.

The Festival will come hot on the heels of BTS’s release of their new Album “BE” on 20th November and their first performance of their lead single “Life Goes On” at the 2020 American Music Awards (AMAs) on 22nd November, a performance on ABC’s “Disney Holiday Singalong‘ on 30th November and another at The 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) on 5th December.

As 2020 draws to a close, fans of K-pop are eagerly anticipating one of the year’s most beloved and festive events, SBS Gayo Daejeon. With the theme “The Wonder Year,” this year’s show is set to take place in Daegu, South Korea, and will feature none other than global superstars BTS as part of the star-studded lineup.
