BTS on GMA in 2018

GMA has announced that BTS will be performing on the show on Monday 23rd November. The Group were first on Good Morning America back in 2018, where they gave an interview and performed their hit single “IDOL” at Times Square, New York.

The global music scene is abuzz with excitement as BTS, the South Korean sensation that has redefined the boundaries of K-pop, is slated to perform on ABC’s renowned morning show, Good Morning America (GMA). BTS’s relationship with Good Morning America has been marked by a series of electrifying performances that have left indelible marks on the show’s history. Their inaugural appearance in September 2018 saw them perform live in Times Square, where they were greeted by a roaring crowd, underscoring their burgeoning popularity in the United States.

In May 2019, BTS returned to kick off GMA’s Summer Concert Series at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield. This performance was particularly significant as it highlighted the group’s ability to draw massive crowds, with fans queuing overnight to catch a glimpse of their idols. ​
