
BTS “BE” Album hit the ground running as soon as it was released! The self produced album by the members sold over 2 million copies in its first 24 hours of release. The 7 track album with the song “Life Goes On”, at some point sold 1 million copies in 30 minutes, this is according to Hanteo Chart
BTS’s album “Be,” released on November 20, 2020, achieved remarkable commercial success, selling over 2 million copies in South Korea within its first week. This impressive figure positioned “Be” as the second-highest opening week sales in the country’s history, trailing only BTS’s own “Map of the Soul: 7,” which sold over 3.3 million copies in its debut week.
Internationally, “Be” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart with 242,000 album-equivalent units, including 177,000 sales, marking BTS’s fifth chart-topping album in the United States. The lead single, “Life Goes On,” also debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the first song performed primarily in a non-English language to debut atop the chart.
