BTS at GRAMMYs 2019 & 2020 red carpect

Being nominated and/or winning at the GRAMMYs is the ultimate prize for any artist around the world. It is like winning the Oscars. Grammys awards the music industry’s greatest which shows the artists’ greatest achievements. This year, fans are excited because BTS allegegly submitted their album Map Of The Soul: 7 for several nominations categories and their hit song “Dynamite” for nominations in various categories.

The GRAMMY Awards, often referred to simply as the GRAMMYs, are one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated awards in the music industry. Presented by the Recording Academy, they honor artistic and technical excellence in the recording industry, recognizing outstanding achievements across various genres of music. The GRAMMYs were first held in 1959, and since then, they have grown to include a wide range of categories, from pop and rock to classical and gospel, celebrating talent from around the world.

BTS have had a single nomination which was for album design for Love Yourself series album. At the GRAMMYs they have appeared twice, in 2019 to present an award to H.E.R and they performed “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas and Billy Ray Cyrus. This year, ARMY is looking foward to this year’s nominations and are hoping to see BTS be nominated for a few awards

BTS have spoken about how exciting it would be to perform on their own stage at the GRAMMYs and even more exciting to be nominated and win.

The 2021 GRAMMY nominations will be announced tomorrow (24th November) in an hour long live session through various channels. The Recording Academy has given the viewing guide for the event to ensure that the public does not miss any action from the event!
