GRAMMY Nominated BTS performed their chart topping song “Dynamite” at the Late Late Show With James Corden, this was their second time virtually performing after “Life Goes On”. As usual you can expect nothing but the best when it comes to putting on an unforgettable, thrilling performance! Their sets have been amazing and jaw dropping every single time.
BTS have done eighteen “Dynamite” virtual performances, and not one of them has been the same as the last, infact, they have outstaged themselves on each new performance. The sets are usually one of a kind and still represent the feel and beat of the music. This one is by far the biggest, most unbelivable set that they have performed on. It is rightfully so that they were nominated for “Best Duo/Group Performance” for “Dynamite” for the 2021 Grammys!
BTS recreated the set for the James Corden show, that even left the network’s show host in awe of it. Leave BTS to always up their game in everything that they do, whether it is embodying the music through dance, fashion or the sets, it just keeps getting better and better! No one is doing it like BTS, Grammy Nominated BTS.
BTS brought their signature flair and creativity to yet another unforgettable stage by recreating the iconic set of The Late Late Show with James Corden for a special performance of their smash hit “Dynamite.” The group, known for transforming every performance into a visual spectacle, delivered a vibrant and nostalgic rendition of the chart-topping track—this time with a playful twist that left fans and viewers thrilled.
In true BTS fashion, the seven-member group didn’t just take to a generic stage. Instead, they built a faithful replica of James Corden’s beloved talk show set, complete with the familiar brick walls, desk, chairs, show signage, and even the signature backdrop of Los Angeles at night. Every detail—from the lighting to the studio cameras—mirrored the real studio, making it feel as though they were right there in LA, despite filming from South Korea.
The performance began with the camera panning across the set, revealing leader RM sitting at the host’s desk, playfully taking on the role of James Corden himself. With a wide smile, RM gestured to the “stage,” kicking off the segment like a real late-night host introducing a musical guest. From there, the rest of the members—Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—joined him as the music burst to life and “Dynamite” filled the space with retro energy.
Each member lit up the recreated set with their distinct presence, dancing through the space with ease and enthusiasm. The pastel-colored outfits, reminiscent of the song’s official music video, added a sweet pop of vintage flair that matched the upbeat, disco-pop vibe of “Dynamite.” With synchronized choreography, expressive vocals, and camera-friendly charisma, the performance felt like a celebration of fun, joy, and youthful energy.
What made the stage even more delightful was BTS’s ability to blend professionalism with humor. The recreated set wasn’t just a backdrop—it became part of the performance itself. Jungkook danced past the faux audience seats with a grin, while j-hope bounced across the floor as if it were a real live show. At one point, Jimin twirled by the host’s desk, giving a playful wink to the imaginary crowd. It was cheeky, clever, and oh-so BTS.
Beyond the dazzling visuals, the performance showcased the group’s tight vocals and live-stage chemistry. Each verse, rap, and chorus was delivered with polished ease, a testament to BTS’s consistency and skill—even when reimagining a talk show set into a performance arena. Their energy was infectious, and the atmosphere—though virtual—felt intimate and lively, as if fans were watching them live in studio.
By recreating The Late Late Show set, BTS didn’t just put on another stage—they paid tribute to one of their favorite international hosts. James Corden and BTS share a well-known camaraderie, often referred to by fans as “Papa Mochi” and “Baby Mochi” (nicknames between Corden and Jimin). Their history on the show includes memorable Carpool Karaoke sessions and candid interviews that have endeared them to global audiences. This playful tribute to Corden’s show felt like a warm nod to that bond.
After the performance aired, fans quickly took to social media to share their reactions, with hashtags like #BTSonCorden and #Dynamite trending across multiple countries. ARMY praised the group’s creativity, noting how BTS continues to push boundaries with every televised performance, always reinventing familiar formats to make them their own. Some fans joked that RM might have a future in late-night hosting, while others called the segment a “mini-musical disguised as a talk show.”
This performance, like many others by BTS, reminded audiences of their ability to think outside the box, injecting personality, storytelling, and connection into every stage. More than just singing and dancing, BTS turns each moment into an experience—and this time, they brought late-night TV to life in their own brilliant, dynamic way.
As BTS continues to explore new ways of reaching fans across borders, even when travel remains limited, stages like this stand out as shining examples of their dedication and innovation. Whether they’re turning a talk show into a disco playground or turning a living room into a concert venue, one thing is always certain: BTS will bring the magic.
