BTS Jin’s birthday is coming up on 4th December 2020 and ARMY have already began the preparations. #JINFESTA2020 is a weeklong celebrations that has various themes for preparing for Jin’s birthday. Everyday there will be a different hashtag and instruction on how to commemorate Jin’s birthday. The event started on 28th November and will continue up until 3rd December, the eve of Jin’s birthday. ARMY always celebrate BTS members’ birthdays in various ways, most of the time different groups participate in different projects, whether it be collecting funds for various charitable causes or participating in acts of kindness towards those who are unable to help themselves.

There are even projects for planting of trees and/ or donations to various charities under the BTS member’ name celebrating their birthday. DAY 1 of #JINFESTA2020 began with fans sharing their favorite memories that they have had or shared with Jin, through various channels, whether through concerts, lives or moments that Jin did something that was unforgettable. For DAY 2, fans celebrated Jin’s first solo song “AWAKE” sharing what the song meant to them.

As winter settled in and the holiday lights began to flicker, BTS fans around the world turned their eyes toward a celebration that was all heart, all Jin, and all unforgettable. #JINFESTA2020, a fan-led tribute to BTS’s eldest member Kim Seokjin, kicked off with powerful momentum on Day 1 and 2, reminding the ARMY just why Jin’s artistry and presence resonate so deeply, especially through his hauntingly beautiful solo, Awake.

#JINFESTA_D2 Celebrating Jin’s solo song “Awake.” ARMY celebrates Jin’s first solo song that he was so proud of it. He was even excited to act in that Music Video for the song. AWAKE was his song that he treasures so much because it was rejected several times before the final draft was finally accepted. The song has very powerful lyrics and it is always heart warming to hear fans sing the words back to Jin, who has sometimes gotten emotional about how much the fans have embraced his song.
