In the United States, “Dynamite” debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the group’s first number-one single in the US and their fourth top-10 entry. BTS became the first all-South Korean act in Hot 100 history to debut at number one.
In early 2021, it was announced that Dynamite was the number one selling single in the US in 2020, racking up a total of 1.3 million physical copies sales according to Nielsen Music’s annual year-end report.
