BTS’s variety show RUN BTS has long been a playground of laughter, surprises, and unforgettable moments for both the members and their fans. Episode 124, in particular, added a special twist to the usual format: the members were tasked with brainstorming their own concepts for a future episode of RUN BTS. This meta-episode, where BTS became the producers and creative directors, turned out to be not only hilarious and wholesome but also full of mystery and speculation—especially due to a moment involving SUGA that has since become the subject of countless fan theories and online discussions.

The episode begins with the members arriving to find out that they won’t just be participating in a game or activity this time, they would be creating it. The producers informed them that for the next RUN BTS episode, they themselves would be coming up with the concept. The rules were simple: each member could pitch their idea, and the best two concepts would be selected for future filming.

Excitement filled the room instantly. The members have always been creative and brimming with ideas, and now they were being handed the reins to shape an entire episode. The atmosphere was lively, buzzing with possibilities. From wild game ideas to cooking contests, horror-themed quests to healing retreats, no idea was too big or too silly.

As the members got into the brainstorming mode, their personalities shone brightly. Jungkook suggested something athletic (as always), possibly sports-related or obstacle-course-themed. Jimin leaned into a more relaxed or aesthetic idea, perhaps involving a vacation-like setting. Jin, ever the variety show genius, pitched an idea with lots of comedic potential. V was his usual whimsical self, coming up with creative yet slightly outlandish scenarios, including ones involving animals or role-playing.

RM, being the thinker he is, tried to balance fun with practicality. His ideas were thoughtful, if not a little on the ambitious side. Meanwhile, J-Hope brought his usual enthusiasm and high energy, tossing out idea after idea, many involving dancing, music, or high-energy games.

Amid all the excitement, one moment particularly caught the attention of fans worldwide. SUGA, who had been quietly listening and soaking in everyone’s ideas, suddenly had a spark in his eyes. You could see the moment it hit him—he leaned forward slightly, opened his mouth as if he was about to share, then hesitated. He paused. And then, with an amused expression, he said, “Ah, never mind… RM doesn’t have a driver’s license.”

Just like that, the idea was dropped, and SUGA moved on. The others didn’t press him too much, though there was some teasing and playful protest about being left out of the loop. SUGA didn’t budge. Whatever the idea was, he had mentally archived it, and fans were left clutching at straws.

This one brief moment, less than 10 seconds of the episode, has sparked endless curiosity in the fandom. What was that idea? Why did it require a driver’s license? And why did SUGA seem so sure it was a good one, only to dismiss it so quickly?

There’s something inherently charming and funny about SUGA’s quiet withdrawal of an idea. Unlike the rest of the members, who often speak in bursts of excitement, SUGA is known for his more reserved, observant demeanor. When he gets excited about an idea, you know it’s something good, and for him to then not share it only deepens the mystery. It was a rare moment of BTS candidness: not scripted, not polished, just a raw, spontaneous glimpse into the creative process, and it left a mark.

Fans also appreciate the consideration behind SUGA’s decision. Rather than pitching something that RM would be excluded from, he simply shelved it. It was thoughtful, selfless, and very SUGA of him. But of course, that only made fans want to know more.

While fans may never know for sure what SUGA’s shelved idea was, episode 124 of RUN BTS still gave viewers a goldmine of memorable moments. It showcased the members’ creativity, their natural chemistry, and their willingness to challenge themselves in new ways. The episode reminded fans why RUN BTS is such a beloved part of the BTS content universe, it’s spontaneous, heartfelt, and overflowing with personality.

And perhaps, one day, when RM finally gets his driver’s license, SUGA will finally say, “Okay, I can tell you now.”

Until then, fans will continue to speculate, to imagine, and to hope that the “lost idea” will one day become reality. Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned from BTS and RUN BTS, it’s that no idea is ever truly off the table forever.

SUGA got a brilliant idea!

I wonder what his idea was…

Suga realizing that RM does not have a drivers’ license decided to shove the idea away

RM then promised that he would get his drivers license for the show

Suga then started suggesting an “RM driver’s license challenge” The members then joined him in his suggestion of having a mission about RM getting his driver’s license

The members were then excitedly contributing to the idea for “RM’s drivers license special” which left RM laughing about it

They started coming up with ideas for the mission. Jin asked “What should we do next to him?”

Suga even jokingly suggested helping him pass the written test

Jin then encouraged the other members to all root for RM

Jin was even willing to take RM through the process by suggesting how to do it

The conversation went on with Suga suggesting that during the road test, all 6 members should be in the back seat of the car as RM took his test

Jimin then chimed in saying that RM would be nervous if all the other members were in the car

RM agreed and even said that there would be quarrels. Discussion ended as they moved on to the next RUN BTS ideas.

RM’s driving license has been an ongoing saga with members making fun of his lack of a driving license but also volunteering to drive him wherever he wants to go

In one of their variety shows, RM was talking about his driving car playlist. Suga then called him out for talking about a driving playlist when he did not have a drivers license.

RM promising to get a driver’s license is not the first time, he said the same thing during one of their Bon Voyage episodes

We cannot wait for RM to get his drivers license and watch him drive himself for the very first time. Hoping that he will record the auspicious historic moment and share with ARMY. “RM please get a driver’s license” Watch the FULL EPISODE
