It seems that BTS have been with us forever and times have flown by so fast that it does not feel like it’s almost 8 years they have been inspiring the world and changing people’s lives in various ways. I came across this is a narration by an ARMY who left a comment on one of BTS’ “Dope” music video. Speaking about time having gone by, yet one thing that remains, ARMY. Once you are ARMY, you are bonded for life, the love for BTS is what bonds ARMY forever. Time may have gone but the relationship remains..

BTS ARMY at a concert

Here goes the story…

“Its 2047. You’ve settled in, accomplished your dream. You’ve found someone you love and married them, maybe have kids. Its 2047 and you’ve grown into a strong, peaceful, kind person

Your job lets you take some time off. You and youer partner travel to a new country, in a language you don’t speak. Maybe you went to Russia, maybe Brazil, maybe Japan. You nervously board the flight and carefully tend to your luggage. Once you land, you head to a local restaurant

Someone’s phone ringtone goes off. Maybe it was the one sitting beside yoyu, maybe on the other side of the restaurant. It doesn’t matter, because either way, you freeze — no, it can’t be—

“Eoseo wa bangtaneun cheoeumiji?”

Automatically without even thinking, out of reflex, you shout—

“AYO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!”

The restaurant is silent. Whoever’s phone had played the song, the call dropped. Because… you weren’t the only one to yell it out. Immediately you look around the restaurant, and everyone else does the same. Its quiet, and a bit hesitant, but you start—

“Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin—“

Two more people join in

“Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok—“

Another five start chanting, slowly remembering the names

“Park Jimin! Kim Taehyung!”

By now, everyone is shouting, everyone is in a frenzy,

“JEON JUNGKOOK! BTS!”

There are cheers, and everyone breaks out into grins. We are all older now, it’s been years now since some of us talked, some of our hair is turning grey. But you look around, and sure enough, everyone is ARMY. We do not speak the same mother tongue, we are all ages and all genders, all shapes and sizes and names and skin colors. It’s been years, but we remember.

Immediately, everyone gathers together. Crying, hugging, laughing. We are family in every way but blood. To you, who is reading this. To every ARMY in the world. To BTS

I promise I will always remember!”

This narration. Speaks of how greatly BTS will be remembered years, centuries to come.
