BTS Performed “Blue & Grey” on “MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS.” It was the first ever live performance of the song that V wrote, originally for his solo mix tape but he said the members loved it so much that he decided to include it in their latest album “BE.” “Blue & Grey” debuted and charted at no. 13 on Billboard Hot 100 off their “BE” album which was released back on November 20th 2020. V introduced the song and said,
“Blue & Grey is a pop ballad with charming acoustic guitar sounds, so I translated the feelings of burning out as “blue” and the sadness of not being able to see ARMY as “Grey” The melody of the song is simple so I paid closer attention to delivering emotions through the lyrics.” V
The set had grey and blue hues and the members wore different shaded of grey which perfectly set the mood and feel of the song. They delivered a perfect performance as expected and it was the best live of this song as it was highly anticipated.
