BTS’ V broke Adele’s record when “Sweet Night” from Itaewon Class OST claimed #1 on iTunes in 103 countries. V released his self-composed single, “Sweet Night”, in March, which was a part the Korean drama series  “Itaewon Class OST”. There was zero promotion for the song yet it broke PSY’s eight-year record as the Korean soloist with the most #1 spots on iTunes Top Songs chart. “Sweet Night” has topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 103 countries, making V the soloist with the most #1’s and thus also broke Adele’s record.

“Sweet Night” has also won several awards on Korean Award shows proving how much of an influence the song is and how much fans love it. To celebrate its one year anniversary, fans are charting V’s beautiful, heart warming song on several worldwide iTunes charts. The song is already #1 on iTunes in Norway, Sweden, Guinea Bisau and Belgium so far.
