
BTS abruptly announced that they would be releasing an new all English song later in the year 2020 during one of their VLIVE sessions.
Before BTS’ “Dynamite” was released, ARMY had set ambitious goals for the music premiere on all music platforms, from YouTube, Shazam, Radio, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and more. And true to their loyalty and hard work, they achieved and exceeded every goal that they had set for “Dynamite” which started the songs record breaking chart topping achievements up until now.
They spoke that the song was not even in the in their plan, but when they got the lyrics to the song they decided to do it seeing how the Corona pandemic was giving people hopelessness and worry. It was their way of sharing in that pain and giving the world hope and some brightness.

The song was released on 21st August with over 3 million concurrent viewers during the premier which Guinness World Records confirmed recently. After the 24 hours, the views on the music video were over 98 million views but fans knew that they had hit their mark of 100 million views in 24 hours. They still celebrated because the views were the highest number of views in 24 hours in YouTube history anyway.
Then come August 28th and YouTube confirmed that indeed “Dynamite” had achieved 100 million views in 24 hours and even crossed over some more. YouTube confirmed that indeed “Dynamite” music video had officially surpassed over 100 million views in the first 24 hours
The celebrations began and various media outlets joined in on announcing the results. It was a beutiful moment seeing BTS making another history!
