BTS have always lived by the simple mantra, “Teamwork Makes The Dream Work” and have always credited every person that has worked or collaborated with them. Scottish singer-songwriter Ryan Lawrie also goes by KOOLKID, a former “The X Factor” show contestant, now a solo artist has collaborated with BTS before on 2 albums.
He’s one of the songwriting credits on “Mikrokosmos“, from the group’s chart-topping “Map of the Soul:Persona” EP. and is one of the writers on BTS V’s track “Inner Child” from their record breaking “Map of the Soul:7” album.
KOOLKID shared on his Twitter handle unboxing his “Map Of The Soul: 7” Gold Plaque writing,

“Map of the Soul: 7″ album debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 chart with 422,000 album-equivalent units (including 347,000 sales) earned in its first week. It became BTS’ fourth consecutive chart-topper in the country. With this, BTS became the first Asian group to top the charts in all of the top-five music markets in the world.
In under nine days of its release, the album sold more than 4.1 million copies for the first time in Gaon Album Chart’s history, setting the Guinness World Record for the best-selling album in South Korea and was certified quadruple million by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA).
The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), and earned gold certifications in several countries.
