
When BTS’ Japanese single “Film Out” was released on April 2, 2021, the song started off by breaking several records on music charts and BTS’ own records for Japanese singles. “Film Out” has this week debuted at #5 on Billboard Global 200 and #3 on Billboard Global 200 Excluding U.S. BTS have now charted songs in 3 different languages (Korean, English and Japanese) in all major Billboard Charts.
The Japanes single debuted at number one on the daily ranking of Oricon’s Daily Digital Singles Chart with 23,344 downloads. It entered at number one on the Weekly Digital Singles Chart, selling 32,947 downloads in its opening week with three days of tracking.
“Film Out” debuted at number two on the Japan Hot 100 chart dated April 7, 2021, selling 10,361 digital downloads. The single took the top spot on the component download chart, and appeared on the streaming chart at number three, accumulating over 8.6 million streams.
