
In celebration of the ‘2021 Spring Hanbok Culture Week’, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, together with the Hanbok Promotion Center, is holding an exhibition of’K-Pop X Hanbok’ at D Forest, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Seoul, from 13th to 25th.
“In this exhibition, idol groups, etc. will show the hanbok they actually wore in music videos, stages, and advertisements. There will be 25 hanboks from 8 teams including Golden Child, Momo Land, BTS, ATEEZ, Oh My Girl, Zico, Chungha, and Card will be exhibited.”
Seven hanbok makers participated in the production of these hanboks, including Giroe, Danhajudan, Riseul, Lieul, Sijien, Tsai Kim, and Hyeon. The hanbok’s designer Hwang Leslee stated it was an honor to have Jimin wear her craft.
The exhibition can be viewed for free, but according to’Corona 19′, only 50 people per hour can enter through advance reservations, and starting today, you can receive it from the Naver reservation address
The Hanbok Culture Week, which started on the 9th, will be held until the 18th, and events such as experiences, exhibitions, and fashion shows are held in seven local governments including Jinju City, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongju City, Gyeongbuk, Sangju City, Gyeongbuk, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Gokseong-gun, Jeonnam, Namwon-si, Jeonbuk, and Jeonju.
