The HYBE Insight Museum, located in the impressive HYBE LABELS Building in Yongsan, Seoul, officially opened its doors to the public on May 14, 2021. This highly anticipated museum is more than just a space for fans; it is a groundbreaking celebration of music, creativity, and connection. Spanning across the first two subfloors of the building and covering approximately 4700 square meters, the museum has been designed to fully immerse visitors in the artistic universe of HYBE.

With the company’s new slogan, “We Believe in Music,” as its foundation, HYBE Insight aims to offer a unique and deeply emotional journey through music, storytelling, and innovation.

HYBE Insight was created not just as a museum but as a living, breathing tribute to the artistry of music. It serves as a place where the sounds, images, and emotions created by HYBE artists come to life in ways never before experienced. From the moment visitors step inside, they are welcomed into a space that invites exploration and reflection.

The museum has been meticulously crafted to showcase the breadth of HYBE’s musical world, featuring content created by artists from all of its labels. This includes globally renowned groups such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHYPEN, and more. Each exhibit tells a story of artistic growth, shared dreams, and the powerful bond between the artists and their fans.

One of the central goals of the HYBE Insight Museum is to help visitors feel the energy and emotion that lie at the heart of every song, performance, and creative moment. Through a variety of exhibitions and interactive content, visitors are encouraged to experience music with all five senses. Whether it is through visual art, immersive soundscapes, or tactile installations, every exhibit is designed to leave a lasting impression. The museum offers a rich blend of technology and emotion, allowing guests to not only observe but also engage with the content in a deeply personal way.

The museum features multiple zones that each focus on a different aspect of music and the creative process. These zones include behind-the-scenes footage of studio sessions, songwriting insights, choreography breakdowns, and showcases of artist development. Visitors can walk through spaces dedicated to the glory and growth of HYBE artists, where major milestones and unforgettable moments are displayed in powerful detail. These moments capture the journey from debut to international fame and reflect the tireless dedication and passion that HYBE artists put into their work.

An especially meaningful section of HYBE Insight is devoted to the connection between artists and fans. Here, visitors can see how fan projects, letters, and events have impacted the artists and how the mutual love between creators and their supporters has played a key role in shaping HYBE’s journey. Through personal video messages, memorabilia, and collaborative art, fans are reminded that they are an integral part of the story. This deep connection is what sets HYBE Insight apart from other museums and entertainment exhibitions around the world.

Adding to the excitement of the opening, the museum launched with a stunning special exhibition titled “Seven Phases” by world renowned visual artist James Jean. This exhibition ran from May 14, 2021, to November 14, 2021, and served as a spectacular introduction to the kind of artistic collaborations the museum aims to foster. “Seven Phases” focused on the seven members of BTS, interpreting each of their individual identities and collective journey through mesmerizing visuals, textures, and symbols.

James Jean, known for his dreamlike and highly detailed artwork, captured the essence of each member through a visual language that bridged fine art and pop culture. His work added a fresh dimension to the narrative of BTS, offering visitors a new perspective on the members they admire.

The “Seven Phases” exhibition was not just a collection of artworks. It was an invitation to look deeper into the identity of each artist, exploring the beauty and complexity behind their public personas. Fans were able to engage with the art in person, standing before larger than life images that paid tribute to BTS’s influence, passion, and artistry. The exhibit was a highlight for visitors and set a high standard for the exhibitions to follow at HYBE Insight.

To maintain a safe and seamless experience for all visitors, HYBE Insight operates on a reservation based ticketing system. Fans and music lovers from all over the world are encouraged to secure their tickets online in advance. Reservations can be made through the official HYBE Insight website at http://hybeinsight.com. HYBE Insight also offers audio guided tours in multiple languages to accommodate its international audience. These guides are voiced by the artists themselves, with RM of BTS featured prominently in the introductory tour.
