BTS have just completed celebrating their 8th Birthday with incredible performances at the MUSTER SOWOOZOO, all their FESTA content and are now continuing to celebrate their fans, ARMY by releasing their latest chart hit single “Butter” in CD
In a statement Big Hit Music said that BTS would be releasing the CD single to celebrate ARMY’s birthday and thanking them for the outpouring support that they have received for the song. They also shared the news by showing a video clip with the announcement

In celebration of ARMY’s birthday, BTS’s “Butter” CD single will be released on Friday, July 9, available for pre-order from Tuesday, June 15.
In addition to the digital single “Butter” that was saturated by an outpouring of love from fans everywhere, the CD will include a new track that will make your heart beat to the rhythm of BTS’s positive energy. We look forward to the love and support from all fans.

“Butter” was released as a digital single on May 21, 2021. “Butter” premiere garnered over 3.9 million peak concurrent viewers on YouTube. It also became the most viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours, amassing 108.2 million views. As of May 2021, BTS hold the top two spots for the biggest YouTube premieres and 24-hour music debuts in the platform’s history.
“Butter” set a new all-time record for the biggest song debut in the platform’s history with 11.042 million first-day streams on the Spotify global chart. “Butter” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart issue dated June 5, 2021, giving BTS its fourth number-one in under nine months. “Butter” stayed atop the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at #1 for its second week.
