BTS has once again set the bar high as their iconic music video “DNA” officially surpassed 1.3 billion views on YouTube, marking a monumental achievement for the group and their fandom, ARMY. This staggering number reflects the love and dedication fans have poured into watching and re-watching the vibrant, high-energy music video, which continues to resonate even years after its release.

Released in September 2017 as the title track of their album “Love Yourself: Her,” “DNA” was a pivotal moment in BTS’ career. It symbolized their global breakout, boasting a fresh blend of EDM and pop-rock influences with complex choreography and visually striking graphics. The song’s message about the inevitability of a destined love paired with its kaleidoscopic visuals, captivated audiences worldwide, helping it become an instant classic in the BTS discography.

“DNA” is BTS’ first-ever music video to reach 1.3 billion views, a feat that demonstrates the song’s enduring popularity and cultural impact. It took five months to climb from 1.2 billion (achieved in February) to this new milestone, highlighting the consistent streaming power of BTS’ fanbase across the globe.

This achievement also places “DNA” alongside two other BTS videos that have surpassed the 1 billion mark:

  • “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)”, known for its bubbly charm and pastel aesthetics.
  • “Dynamite”, BTS’ first all-English single that topped charts around the world and introduced millions to their music during the height of the pandemic.

As BTS continues to evolve musically and visually, milestones like this serve as a testament to their legacy and the deep connection they share with their fans. Every view is more than just a number it represents moments of joy, healing, and celebration shared between BTS and ARMY. And as history shows, when BTS makes history, they don’t stop they soar.
