BTS’ mission in sharing their music is to heal, inspire and change lives. Knowingly or unknowingly the South Korean septet have reimagined what it means to share lyrics that have far much deeper meaning than just tge face value. With their passion, hard work and love for their craft, Jin, SUGA, RM, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook have become the measuring point of what a true artist should be.

It is true that music heals and “Permission to Dance” is not only a Summer bop but is a song with deeper meaning. From the lyrics some of which are, “We don’t need to worry ‘Cause when we fall, we know how to land” “There’s always something that’s standing in the way But if you don’t let it faze ya You’ll know just how to break” the song has come to heal especially in this pandemic season.

The choregraphy was not only easy to folow but it incorporated international sign language for “fun” “happy” “dance” and “peace” this made the song inclusive. After the song was released, fans started to tweet about how much “Permission to Dance” meant to them, especially those with hearing disability.

As much as BTS have brough the world together, the fans (ARMY) have also followed in their footsteps and brought people together. ARMY have created several groups that handle specific issues because the fandom is varied from all walks of life, proffesions, languages, ages, countries, yet they have a single mind of being each others keepers.

There is a specific ARMY tweeter page for those with hearing disabilities “Deaf Army Education” “Disabled Army Advocacy & Support Network” are just a few of those groups that support other ARMY living with disability.
