Japan Record Association divides certification into four levels, Silver (more than 30 million times), Gold (more than 50 million times), Platinum (more than 100 million times), and Diamond (more than 500 million times) through the official website every month.

Certification is based on the cumulative number of streams calculated by the Association based on the data provided by GfK Japan (GfK Insight Japan Co., Ltd.), and based on the application from each member company, in principle, the end of the month following the certification month. The certified works are published every month
