“BTS’ “Dynamite” has been certified “Triple Platinum” by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 3 million units. “Dynamite” released in 21st August 2020. According to the digital single and album sales, the RIAA classifies it into gold (over 500,000 units), platinum (over 1 million units), multi-platinum (over 2 million units), and diamond (over 10 million units).

RIAA made the announcement on 2nd November on its official website that “Dynamite” had received the official certification of “Triple Platinum“, which is given to singles that sold more than 3 million units as of October 18. The counting is done by weighting album (physical/digital) sales, digital downloads, and audio and video streaming
