According to the digital single and album sales, the RIAA classifies it into gold (over 500,000 units), platinum (over 1 million units), multi-platinum (over 2 million units), and diamond (over 10 million units). The counting is done by weighting album (physical/digital) sales, digital downloads, and audio and video streaming
