“RM showcased his design process of coming up with his merchandise for the “Artist-made Collection By BTS. RM’s merch pieces include a wind chime and jogger pants named “ARMY Jogger pants” the rapper, producer and composer took a lot of time in deciding the details, color, make, size and even meaning behind his creation. As someone who thinks a lot he was very particular about certain aspects of the end product like branding the item but not making it too obvious and also talked about the wind chime being something that is not common but its something that could be perfect and useful if given the chance. “The thing I actually use and really like is the wind chime I have. Its a wind chime but… when it comes to wind chimes… since not everyone has a balcony, its best if you can get a nice breeze to create the sound. But you could hang it on your front door or on your bathroom door. Anyway I like wind chimes, there’s something about them. Its atmospheric so I love the sound they make. I have really full lips so it could sort of cute with full lips. I saw jogger pants in the examples and I think they’d be good because I wear them a lot too… and its something that can be used in different situations.” RM
“Along the waist band we could sort of put the BTS ARMY logo. It’s important not to make it too obvious that you’re a fan. Have a small detail on it that only we can notice . Jogger pants have to move with you and be comfortable to wear.” RM
“Well, I’ve never done anything like this before but it was a lot of fun. And I keep thinking and hoping that a lot of people like it. But its just you know. We came up with the idea and helped create it so we think they will like it. I’m not sure when we’ll be able to experience something like this again, but anyway I’d like to thank everyone who was involved in making this merchandise” RM
