The Korean Music Awards (KMA) is one of South Korea’s most prestigious music award shows, recognizing outstanding achievements across a wide range of genres, from mainstream pop and hip-hop to underground rock, jazz, and trap. Known for honoring musical artistry over commercial success, the KMAs shine a spotlight on the very best of South Korean music.

At this year’s 2022 Korean Music Awards, BTS was once again honored with one of the biggest accolades of the night the Grand Prize (Daesang) for Artist of the Year. This recognition highlights BTS’ tremendous impact and excellence in music, both nationally and globally.

With this latest win, BTS now holds an incredible total of 65 Daesang awards, a record-breaking achievement that cements their legacy as one of the most celebrated and influential artists in South Korean history. Congratulations to BTS and ARMY for yet another monumental milestone!
