It has been a long, quiet season on BTS’ official Twitter account, or at least it felt that way to ARMY. Ever since the seven members of BTS, Jin, SUGA, RM, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, opened their personal Instagram accounts back in late 2021, Twitter updates have grown few and far between. What was once the main hub of BTS’ day-to-day antics, selfies, and messages to fans gradually fell into silence. That silence was broken recently… and the fandom? Absolutely unhinged. In the best possible way.

Park Jimin, BTS’ angelic-voiced vocalist and dance king, decided to break the drought with a new tweet. Not just any tweet, but a photo of himself with music producer Benny Blanco. For newer fans, or those who blinked and missed it, Benny Blanco collaborated with Jimin, along with bandmates Jin, V, and Jung Kook on the bright and bouncy summer track “Bad Decisions” back in 2022. The photo instantly set off a flurry of excitement, retweets, and memes.

But that was only the beginning.

The tweet replies quickly became a hilarious and slightly chaotic display of ARMY creativity. Topping the reply section and making its way to the very first thing one sees under Jimin’s post is a picture of two majestic wolves standing in a snowy forest, with the caption:
“we are once again reunited, my alpha.”

And that’s when the wolf memes returned.

To an outsider, this might seem utterly random. But to anyone even remotely familiar with BTS Twitter culture, the wolf references are practically a coded language. It all began the last time Jimin posted on Twitter after a long absence. His post was met with such feral joy from fans, someone jokingly referred to him as an “alpha” returning to his pack. From there, ARMY Twitter did what it does best: commit fully to the bit.

Suddenly, photos and gifs of wolves, forest packs, moonlit howls, and declarations of loyalty to “Alpha Jimin” filled timelines. Edits were made. Fanfiction references surfaced. Some even changed their usernames to fit the lore. And now, with another rare sighting of Jimin on Twitter, the wolf pack is back in full force.

But the memes are only part of the story. What made this moment even more special for fans is the sense of nostalgia it evoked. Before Instagram, Weverse, and official YouTube shorts took over much of BTS’ online interaction, Twitter was the place for spontaneous updates. Whether it was Jimin showing off his new hair color, RM snapping a photo of a book, or Jung Kook posting late-night song covers, Twitter was where ARMYs felt most connected to the members. It was fast, personal, and often unfiltered.

So when that same familiar chaos returned in the form of a single Jimin tweet, it felt like a homecoming.

The photo with Benny Blanco sparked a fresh wave of questions. Is there another collab in the works? Was this a casual hangout or a studio session? The mystery remains, but the timing has fans curious. With Jin and j-hope currently enlisted and the rest of the members either enlisted or preparing for service, every interaction or appearance takes on deeper meaning for fans. A simple tweet can mean everything, especially if it features a beloved member like Jimin.

And it was not just the wolf jokes. The replies were a rich mix of reactions: swooning over Jimin’s visuals, speculating about potential music, and sharing memes that only BTS fans would understand. Some quoted famous lines from fanfics, others brought up Twilight references, because apparently, Alpha Jimin now exist in the same universe created entirely by the fandom’s imagination.

Others noted how soft and warm Jimin looked in the photo, his comforting smile, his posture close to Benny Blanco’s, and the natural charm he exudes even in candid moments. Fans who love Jimin for his gentleness and sincerity saw it as another reminder of why he is so cherished.

Then, of course, came the fan art. Within hours of the tweet, artists had already started sharing new works of Jimin in stylized wolf attire, or Jimin howling at a full moon in an enchanted forest, surrounded by his “pack.” Some drew comic strips. Others reimagined Jimin as the main character in a fantasy novel, alpha in the streets and angel in the vocals.

Perhaps what makes this whole moment so delightful is the way BTS and ARMY continue to co-create joy. A single photo, shared without elaborate captions or context, can spark a thousand responses, thousands of stories, and a collective explosion of laughter and creativity. In a world that can often feel too heavy, BTS’ interactions, even the smallest ones, become a reason to celebrate.

So whether Jimin meant to summon the wolves or not, the pack has heard the call. And the replies say it all:

“Alpha Jimin has returned. We await your next command.”

Well it began with the last post that Jimin updated on their official Twitter page. The reply that is standing out the most or is the first tweet one can see is that of two wolves with the caption

we are once again reunited, my alpha”

Did BTS see the reply?

Jimin has recently posted and here are some responses under the latest tweet

Its a whole wolves agenda in the replies. Some are taking the joke lightly, some find the memes cringy, while some feel it’s a joke taken too far,

The responses

And then there’s BTS howling😄 we cannot defend you anymore Tannies 😂
