Here’s Why This Response on A Comment hitting at Agust D Singing On Capitalism Is Going Viral on Twitter

“Capitalism is a pretty sensitive topic where half of the people speaking about it may not understand it, while the other half have their stand on it. Agust D released a song “Haegeum” which has two meanings that of a two stringed Korean instrument and ” To liberate” In the song Agust D even mentions, the meaning, “Liberation from all that’s forbidden” Then lines that hit hard were “Slaves to capitalism, slaves to money, Slaves to hatred and prejudice, Slaves to YouTube, slaves to flexin’” which really touch on a capitalistic world that we live in.

There has been strong reactions regarding the lyrics and meaning of the song, with a section of non-fans questioning why Agust D is singing about capitalism when he himself is living in it.

I agree that his message has value and is to be heard, but we also can't put to the side the capitalistic giant that hybe has become, and the fact that a lot of their actions (such high productivity expectations, nft projects etc) goes against this message. 1/2
