“The Planet” is the first song that fans have heard from BTS that features all the members after their announcement that they would be focusing on solo projects. The song was released today 12th May and landed at #1 on US iTunes and now its topped both the European and Worldwide iTunes Song Charts. BTS’s latest release, “The Planet,” has achieved remarkable success on global music charts. Serving as the original soundtrack for the animated series “Bastions,” the track debuted at number one on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts. Additionally, as of May 13, 2023, “The Planet” secured the top position on iTunes Top Songs charts in 67 countries and regions, including the United States, France, and Australia.

“The Planet” becomes BTS’ 28th #1 hit on iTunes US, the MOST for any Korean as well as Asian Act!!

This accomplishment marks BTS’s first full-group release since “Yet To Come” in June 2022. The song’s uplifting melody and the group’s signature harmonious vocals have resonated with fans worldwide. “Bastions,” the animated series featuring “The Planet,” follows rookie superheroes combating environmental villains, aligning with the song’s themes of unity and hope.
