Global sensational artist and BTS member j-hope is closing out his groundbreaking solo world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, with two highly anticipated encore concerts set for July 13 and 14, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea. These final shows aren’t just a conclusion to a remarkable tour, they’re sparking waves of speculation and hope throughout the BTS ARMY fandom, as the dates carry deep emotional significance.

j-hope’s journey as a solo artist began earlier this year on February 28, when he kicked off his tour in Seoul. What followed was a dazzling global run across 15 cities and 31 shows. Stops included major cities in the Americas like Brooklyn, Chicago, and Mexico City, followed by performances in vibrant Asian metropolises including Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macao, Taipei, and Osaka.

The setlist for j-hope’s tour is split into five sections, each with its own mood and theme: Ambition, Dream, Expectations, Fantasy, and Wish. Ambition – “What If…”, “Pandora’s Box”, “방화” (Arson), “Stop” (세상에 나쁜 사람은 없다), “More” Dream – “On the Street”, “Lock / Unlock”, “I Don’t Know”, “I Wonder…”, “Trivia: Just Dance”, “Sweet Dreams”, “Mona Lisa” Expectations – “1 Verse”, “Base Line”, “항상” (Hangsang), “Airplane”, “Airplane Pt.2”, “MIC Drop”, “뱁새” (Silver Spoon), “Dis-ease” (병) Fantasy – “Outro: Ego”, “Daydream” (백일몽), “Chicken Noodle Soup”, “Hope World”, and Wish/Encore – “=” (Equal Sign), “Future”, “Neuron”

Each stop brought its own flavor, but one constant remained: j-hope’s unrelenting energy and signature optimism. The rapper-dancer-producer showcased not only his musical versatility but also his deep connection to fans, offering heartfelt moments and performances that bridged language and culture.

As his solo stage nears its conclusion, it’s clear that HOPE ON THE STAGE wasn’t just a concert series, it was a personal and artistic milestone, a love letter to his fans and to himself as a standalone performer.

While fans are excited about j-hope’s final shows, it’s the timing of the July 13 concert that has caused a stir online. That day marks the 12th anniversary of BTS’ official debut, a date celebrated by fans around the globe every year. Holding an encore concert on such a symbolic day feels like more than coincidence. To many, it’s a sign.

Rumors and hopeful speculation about a full-group reunion have gained traction as ARMYs point to recent interactions and clues hinting at something more than just a solo farewell. The July concerts fall just as most BTS members are expected to complete their mandatory military service, raising the tantalizing possibility that all seven could be back on stage together for the first time in years.

For BTS fans, the concept of “OT7” (all seven members, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook together) carries profound emotional weight. It’s about unity, shared growth, and a journey millions have followed since 2013. The anniversary date, combined with the finale of j-hope’s tour, has created an almost cinematic build-up.

Social media has exploded with fan theories and countdowns. Enthusiasts cite a recent event where BTS posed 12 symbolic questions to fans about their memories and experiences with the band. The number, tied to the 12th anniversary, wasn’t lost on ARMYs, who now view it as a subtle nod toward something big.

Adding to the excitement, j-hope himself has, in interviews and online posts, hinted at the potential for a complete group reunion. Though nothing official has been confirmed, the tone of his words, combined with the timing, has been enough to spark hope that July 13 could be the day BTS returns as a full unit.

One complicating factor in the reunion rumors is the military service status of member SUGA (Min Yoongi). Official records list his discharge date as July 21, 2025, just a week after the encore concerts. However, South Korean military policy does allow for the use of accumulated leave, meaning it’s technically possible that SUGA could make an appearance if granted permission.

This loophole has fueled a storm of speculation. Fans have taken to social media with hashtags and messages like “#YoongiComeBack” and “#OT7onJuly13,” expressing hope that he could join the rest of the members for even a brief moment on stage. While no official statement has confirmed his participation, the possibility, no matter how slim, is enough to keep anticipation burning.

The final concerts will not only be performed in front of a live South Korean audience but also broadcast globally. This move ensures that millions of fans, regardless of location, will have front-row access to what could become a defining moment in K-pop history.

For ARMYs in every corner of the world, the idea of watching a potential full-group BTS performance, live and in real time, feels like a dream. Whether it’s through a screen or in the stadium, fans are preparing to mark their calendars, gather their lightsticks, and come together in shared anticipation.

Even without a confirmed OT7 reunion, the final leg of HOPE ON THE STAGE holds immense emotional significance. For J-Hope, it represents the culmination of a bold leap into solo artistry. For fans, it’s a chance to say thank you, to celebrate everything he has given during this journey.

His evolution throughout the tour has been remarkable. From gritty streetwear concepts to vibrant dance showcases, J-Hope has proven his strength as an all-around performer. The encore concerts in Goyang are not just a finale, they’re a reflection of his growth, his gratitude, and his ongoing connection to the people who’ve supported him every step of the way.

Ultimately, the final concerts in July embody more than just performances. They represent hope, both literal and symbolic. Hope that BTS will return together. Hope that fans’ patience through the members’ military service will be rewarded. Hope that the music and message that made BTS a global phenomenon will continue to shine in new, united ways.

As the date approaches, the air in the fandom is electric. Whether the encore shows bring an OT7 moment or remain focused on j-hope’s solo brilliance, one thing is certain: these concerts will be etched in memory as a key chapter in BTS’ history.

Until an official announcement arrives, ARMYs around the world will be waiting, dreaming, and holding onto the possibility that, on July 13, the music will play and the seven stars of BTS will once again stand together on the same stage, celebrating 12 years of impact, artistry, and endless love.

Can you imagine I have never been to a concert in my life? Like a full concert, start to finish. I’m trying to save for the future BTS concerts so that no matter what country they will be in, I will make it.

The last live performance I saw was a live band at a restaurant where we went to celebrate my sister’s wedding. The band sang her a happy birthday, danced with her, and overall made her feel special, that was back in 2022.
