BTS recently shared a Weverse live of them at the beach. BTS surprised ARMY worldwide with a heartfelt OT7 Weverse Live from a beach in Los Angeles, their first live session together since completing mandatory military service.

Highlights from the Live Broadcast
  • The live stream took place on August 17, capturing all seven members, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, relaxing and being themselves under the LA sky, just steps away from the oceanโ€™s edge.
  • Over the course of a spirited 7-minute session, they greeted fans, chimed in with jokes, and shared updates on their highly anticipated group album. The livestream reflected their natural closeness, spontaneous antics, and genuine excitement to be back together.
  • RM reassured fans that theyโ€™re doing well and preparing music for their upcoming comeback. SUGA and j-hope confirmed theyโ€™ve been busy in the studio, while Jimin stood firm on the need for balance: โ€œweโ€™re talking a day off every week.โ€ Jin greeted with warmth, saying, โ€œIโ€™ve arrived in the US โ€ฆ we have to work hard, bro.โ€
  • A sweet moment came when members read fan comments, such as โ€œMiss you, my husband,โ€ to which RM cheekily replied, โ€œMiss you, wife.โ€
  • Fans gleefully dubbed this reunion โ€œMy forever seven,โ€ as the video hit over 4.2 million views within hours, proof to their global impact and devoted fandom.

This beach livestream was not only a casual broadcast, it marked BTSโ€™s long-awaited full-group reunion in a relaxed, authentic setting. They treated ARMY to a slice of normalcy and joy, even amid high-stakes preparations for their spring 2026 comeback album. Establishing a more intimate connection than stage delay.

So what has got me all theorizing with no solid evidence? When the members go live on the Weverse App, captions are usually added later on, so excited fans, aka, Me, were too excited to wait for captions, so we went searching for where I could watch. And most captions are usually auto-generated, while some channels translate the captions. So I skidded through the live, but then re-watched it again, now calmed down. The captions that captured my eye were the members talking about working on their upcoming album, most notably SUGA and Jung Kook. The translations allegedly went like this: “I’m working hard on the album” SUGA said, then Jung Kook added “Yes, I’m working on my album”

And that’s where my heart stopped and had to rewind again. I checked two more channels, the ones directly uploaded on YouTube, and one from a reactor, and those were the same captions. Before going out on an all-freak-out mode, I decided to wait on the official Weverse translations

So, the reality of the Official Weverse translations hit. Their words are translated to “We’ve been doing our best for the album” and “We’re making our album.” So there goes my delulu theory, which lasted for only a couple of days?
