ARMY, it’s officially happening. BTS have revealed ARMY Bomb Ver. 4, and the timing could not be more perfect. As the group prepares for their highly anticipated fifth studio album, ARIRANG, the upgraded light stick arrives as both a collector’s dream and a powerful symbol of what promises to be one of BTS’s biggest eras yet.

The new ARMY Bomb Ver. 4 introduces a sleek, modern redesign centered around a clear globe etched with the BTS logo, giving it a refined, luminous look that feels futuristic while staying true to the group’s identity. One of the most talked-about upgrades is the addition of detachable badges, allowing fans to personalize their ARMY Bombs for different eras, concerts, or even bias-inspired themes.

The announcement was made via BTS’s Weverse platform

Hello.

We are pleased to announce the drop of BTS OFFICIAL LIGHT STICK VER.4, with new features and a new wireless control system. VER.4 is an upgraded version being released about 5 years and 10 months after the previous MAP OF THE SOUL Special Edition (SE). It features a renewed design along with compatible accessories, including CRADLE and PARTS. In addition, a new app and an improved wireless control system have been introduced, enhancing user convenience while delivering a more advanced wireless control experience. With the release of the new version, sales of BTS OFFICIAL LIGHT STICK MAP OF THE SOUL Special Edition have been discontinued. Sales details for BTS OFFICIAL LIGHT STICK VER.4 will be announced in a separate Weverse Shop notice at 11 am on Friday, February 6, 2026 (KST). We look forward to your enthusiastic interest and support.

Thank you.

Functionality has also taken a major leap forward. Version 4 features advanced wireless concert syncing, powered by a brand-new companion app. Fans will be able to connect their light sticks using interactive venue maps, enabling seamless coordination across entire stadiums. A playful new “shake-to-randomize” color feature adds an extra layer of fun, letting ARMY interact with their light sticks in real time during shows.

Beyond concerts, the ARMY Bomb Ver. 4 is designed to be part of everyday life. It now doubles as a mood lamp, making it a stylish display piece for homes and workspaces alike, a subtle way for fans to keep BTS close even when the music is paused.

The ARMY Bomb Ver. 4 will officially go on sale this Friday via Weverse Shop. Fans should note that support for older versions will be phased out, with full compatibility maintained only until May 28, making this release essential for those planning to attend upcoming concerts.

The light stick launch adds even more fuel to the already explosive momentum surrounding ARIRANG. Set for release on March 20, the album features 14 tracks and has already surpassed 3 million Spotify pre-saves, a milestone reached before a single note has been officially released. Each member has contributed to the album’s creation, raising expectations for a deeply personal and cohesive body of work.

Adding to the excitement, BTS will host a Netflix-streamed comeback show on March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square, marking a historic moment as fans around the world tune in together. The celebration doesn’t stop there, the ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour officially kicks off on April 9, launching a global journey that will bring BTS back to stadium stages across continents.

With the unveiling of ARMY Bomb Ver. 4, BTS are sending a clear message: the ARIRANG era is not just an album, it’s a full-scale experience. From synchronized lights filling stadiums to music that’s already breaking records, BTS and ARMY are stepping into the next chapter together, brighter than ever.
